I tried mixing Video and Photos onto a single DVD using Sonic's MyDVD 4.5 and that appeared to work fine on the computer that I was doing it on but on the DVD itself, the video played fine but the photo slideshow skipped, lost sync with the music audio piece, etc. Is there a particular transition that I should use from the slideshow to the video portion? Or, should I not use any transition and should the conclusion of the slideshow bring you back to the menu?ģ. It appears that I can drag and drop several photos into one "bucket" in the editing/timeline portion of Studio. If I want to send these DVDs to Spain (I believe that's Region 2), do I need to burn the DVDs somehow with Region 2 settings? Is this ability an add on to Studio or should I be able to do it in the base product that I have? If so, any guidance would be great! I just don't want to send it over, spend the money on the postage and the time it would take for it to get there and discover that they can't watch it.Ģ. I have now finally been successful in creating a couple of DVDs of off miniDV tapes. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program today without the updates and still have the same problem.Windows XP, SP1 with Pinnacle Studio 9.3.5 No one seemed to be able to help this person. Here is a link to a site where someone posted having a similar problem with screen shots of what comes up. It seems to be a site for activating new products. There is a form to fill out but when I send it nothing happens. I click on the link ∺ctivate Now (using your Internet connection) but it takes me to a site called premium content where I see nothing about activating MPEG-2 Encoding/decoding. When I try to make movie and burn a DVD disk to I get a message saying In order to ensure studio 9 has the latest components you must activate MPEG-2 Encoding/decoding now. When I did it indicated there was a newer version so I updated to 9.4.3 and now am having a problem burning discs. I had not used Pinnacle studio 9 in some time and had to reinstall it.
